My name is Kellie Emery, I am a graphic designer and illustrator from Portsmouth, Virginia.

Making art has always been my driving force in life. Creating something from nothing and being able to tell a story or convey a message is a literal form of magic. Whether it's designing books, branding, brochures, painting, or baking, anything can evoke an emotion.

I graduated with a BFA in graphic design from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach and am now the senior graphic designer at a small independent publishing company where I create text layouts and design book covers that are coming soon to a bookseller near you. 

When not designing or painting, I am probably watching movies (preferably Wes Anderson, Baz Luhrmann, or Batman) or trying my best to get out of an escape room.
